IIT’s Center for the Study of Ethics In the Professions is an extensive resource for ethics-related issues overall. It includes a large collection of resources specifically dedicated to issues of privacy and surveillance. It also offers the Ethics Information Library, an online resource of ethics-related information, as well as other online resources and resource guides in Academic Ethics.

This is the site for the open-access, peer reviewed journal from Queen’s University in Canada. Though it is not based in the US, studies into surveillance and privacy ethics often overlap due to similarities of culture and geographical location.
US Department of Justice – Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section

This is a very useful resource because it provides valuable information about the legalities and abilities of the US federal government to access computer information. It includes documents about laws, regulations, and policies, such as the documents section that includes the publication Searching and Seizing Computers and Obtaining Electronic Evidence in Criminal Investigations.
Stanford (Student Project) – The Ethics (or Not) of Massive Government Surveillance

This is also included because though it is a student project, it is very well researched on surveillance specifically and has solid information and a collection of useful references.
